ASSUME NOTHING. Dassler has gone incognito. This fresh modern collection is masked by distressed leather and waxed washed canvas. Its street edge is softened with dusty hues and o!set with o!beat pop colours. Apparel, accessories, and footwear take new form with hybrid styling and strong graphic language — smooth accents to a slick operation.
Rooted in heritage sport, modernity, and the revolutionary spirit of the pre-PUMA era, Rudolf Dassler Schuhfabrik is a modern Sport-Fashion collection that combines vintage silhouettes with street edge.
The collection is directly inspired by PUMA’s founder, Rudolf Dassler, and his contributions to the company’s sport heritage. When he founded the company in 1948, Dassler also registered the first PUMA logo, featuring a puma jumping through a slim letter “D.” This logo appears across the collection, on designs that are every bit as strong and charismatic as the company’s founder.
Since the start, PUMA has been a brand rooted in sport. In 1952, Dassler took the pitch by storm with his Super Atom boot, featuring removable, screw-in studs. With this boot, PUMA carved its niche within the sport industry. The years to come saw PUMA move with ferocity between playing fields, reacting to culture rather than adapting. Though wholly dedicated to sport, it began to shift energy into the lifestyle arena, introducing fresh classics that dominated the city block from Berlin to Bogota.
Today’s Rudolf Dassler Schuhfabrik spins vintage styles into fresh modern classics. Its apparel, accessories, and footwear take new form with hybrid styling and strong graphic language — always with a nod to sport, ever with Dassler’s vision in mind, and utterly in sync with yesteryear and tomorrow.
